NEWS: Updates Made to Marigold Cards on 10th & 12th August Due to Rea Seto & Zayda Steel Injuries

Just after announcing the full cards for their next two shows in Saitama and Yokohama this weekend, Marigold were dealt a double blow with Rea Seto (fractured rib) and Zayda Steel (back pain) both coming down with injuries. Seto’s injury in particular must be a bitter pill to swallow, having only returned to in-ring action after a six-month lay off in July, and she now faces a spell of over a month on the sidelines again with a fractured rib.

Marigold have been desperately unlucky with injuries and illness since their inception in May, with Giulia fracturing her wrist in the first ever main event, Nanae Takahashi and Nao Ishikawa both struggling with illness, Utami Hayashishita being hospitalised with enteritis and Victoria Yuzuki missing the shows from the 3rd and 4th August. All that without even taking into consideration that the Marigold World Champion Sareee sustained a fractured wrist of her own at Summer Destiny.

However, these latest two injures have necessitated some card changes, with the Dream Star Grand Prix qualifiers being the most notable change.

Rea Seto will be out of action until end of September, due to a rib fracture.

Unfortunately, Zayda Steel will lose her place in the qualifying match against Kizuna Tanaka, with the spot going instead to Komomo Minami, whilst the loss of Rea Seto means that Tanaka will also be going one on one with Bozilla on the 12th August, which is something I cannot imagine she is relishing.
