Utami Hayashishita will challenge for Marigold’s top prize at Marigold First Dream on the 3rd January 2025 in Ota-Ward City Gymnasium.
Having won the inaugural Marigold Dream Star Grand Prix at the end of September, defeating Mai Sakurai in the final, Utami was presented with a ‘Right to Challenge’ contract at Marigold’s Fantastic Adventure press conference on Tuesday by Rossy Ogawa.
At today's press conference, Utami Hayashishita was presented with a certificate for the right to challenge for a title, and she said she will challenge Sareee for the World Title (or whoever is the World champion) on 1.3 at Marigold First Dream from Ota Ward Gym! pic.twitter.com/ri8Jpl69Hq

Forgoing the urge to challenge for Sareee’s Marigold World Championship immediately, Utami has opted to wait for Marigold’s next PPV, due to emanate during a packed Wrestle Kingdom week, on 3rd January 2025 at Ota-Ward City Gymnasium. Whether Sareee, who seemingly has challenges from Bozilla and Nanae Takahashi on the horizon, is still champion at that time is yet to be seen, though no title matches have yet been made official.
