NEWS: Stardom Goddesses of Stardom Tag League 2024 Teams & Blocks Announced

During a press conference on Wednesday 16th October, Stardom announced the full field and block breakdown for the 14th Goddesses of Stardom Tag League, due to begin on October 26th.

With 2 blocks of 9 and 18 total teams, the 2024 tournament will see the largest field in history, beating out the 16 teams of 2022. Though we will see returning teams in BMI2000, 02 Line, FWC, Peach Rock, Anecon and Winggori, there are tournament debuts for Rian, Aya Sakura, Sayaka Kurura, Ranna Yagami, Azusa Inaba, Hina and Pro-Wrestling Wave’s Kohaku. The announcement also sees Thekla and Saki Kashima make their returns from respective injuries to be a part of the field.

The full team and block breakdown is as follows;

  • H.A.T.E Supreme – Momo Watanabe & Thekla
  • SaoriPoi – Saori Anou & Natsupoi
  • Mad Tiger Girl – Suzu Suzuki & Starlight Kid
  • Winggori – Hanan & Saya Iida
  • Star Fox – Mei Seira & Kohaku
  • Sakuradamon – Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori
  • DEVIL/PRINCESS – Azusa Inaba & Rina
  • Team Classroom – Lady C & Hina
  • Reckless Fantasy – Waka Tsukiyama & Rian
  • Tokimeki Purin a La Mode – Tam Nakano & Sayaka Kurura
  • PsyQueen – Konami & Saya Kamitani
  • Peach Rock – Mayu Iwatani & Momo Kohgo
  • BMI2000 – Natsuko Tora & Ruaka
  • Concave Anecon Convex – Syuri & Saki Kashima
  • Inaba & Yagami – Tomoka Inaba & Ranna Yagami
  • 02 Line – AZM & Miyu Amasaki
  • Cup High Mate – Maika & HANAKO
  • FWC – Koguma & Hazuki

Unlike in previous years, the top three teams from each block will go through to the play-offs. The top team from both Red and Blue block will receive a bye to semi-finals, whilst the teams placed in 2nd and 3rd will have a playoff to see who will join them. The play-offs and semi-finals are scheduled to take place in Act City Hamamatsu on the 7th December, whilst the final will take place on the 8th in the same venue.

The tournament is due to begin on October 26th in Shinjuku Sumitomo Hall, live on Stardom World.
