In another of Stardom’s notoriously action-packed press conferences, the full card for the upcoming THE CONVERSION PPV on the 22nd June at Yoyogi National Gymnasium was announced, with three title matches, the fate of the two longest-serving factions in company history hanging in the balance, the return of Tomoka Inaba and Ruaka and a High-Speed special singles match.

Both the Red and White belt will be on the line with Maika making her fifth defence of her World of Stardom Championship against fellow-EXV member Xena, while Saori Anou will be looking to defend her Wonder of Stardom Championship for the fourth time against current-Sendai Girls World Champion Mika Iwata. The pair have met twice in singles competition before, with each encounter going to a time-limit draw, with the latest being in in February of this year.

Elsewhere on the card, Fukuoka Double Crazy defend their Goddesses of Stardom Championships against fellow-STARS team Winggori (Hanan and Saya Iida) in what is sure to be another excellent match in a recent slew of outstanding tag matches put on by the company. Mei Seira will also be granted her request for a singles match with Starlight Kid and Tomoka Inaba returns to a Stardom ring for the first time in over a year ahead of a potential Red Belt clash with Maika in JTO in July.

Perhaps the most important match on the card however is the one dubbed ‘The Final Chapter’ as Queen’s Quest once again prepare for battle with Oedo Tai, complete with returning Ruaka. Though initially rumoured to be a Losing Unit Must Disband match, the negative push back from fans seemed to have forced a change to the stipulation, with President Taro Okada going so far as to acknowledge this at the press conference and confirm that it will instead be a Loser Leaves Unit match. Unfortunately for Saya Kamitani and Queen’s Quest however, a clause had been slipped into the contract by Oedo Tai leader Natsuko Tora that did not become apparent until after they had signed. The clause stipulates that, rather than it being the last person eliminated being the person who must leave their unit, it is instead the four other members who must leave, effectively dissolving the unit that loses the match anyway. With both factions having been prevalent in Stardom for a large portion of its history, the prospect of a future without one of them is a terrifying prospect, and one that showed on the faces of Saya Kamitani and Queen’s Quest as they realised what they had signed up!

The rest of the card is as follows;
