NEWS: Saori Anou to Face Meiko Satomura at Sendai Girls’ BIG SHOW in Niigata

Saori Anou has been announced as the first singles match of joshi legend Meiko Satomura’s retirement road.

Satomura announced at a press conference in July 2024 that she would be retiring in 2025, bringing to an end what will be an incredible 30 year career in the wrestling industry that saw her win titles and gain plaudits across the globe. The first singles match of this road of retirement will be against Saori Anou on the 9th November in Niigata Gymnasium as a part of Sendai-Girls’ BIG SHOW in Niigata. This is the first time the pair will have faced off.
